Food Trails
I love foods not just traveling, and I always do make my own foods whenever I'm on the mood to cook or bake. I'm fan watching cooking shows or food trips shows. Most of the time, I will try different kinds of cuisine. I am not afraid to taste different preparation of food though I will figure out the taste of the food through how it is being presented.
I'm learning food preparation from my father and aunties. I also trying to figure out how the food was prepared through preparing it by myself and just taking it how I taste the food. I base the ingredients to how it taste and how it the food smells. Luckily, I manage to duplicate foods and if not I make my own touch to it, like adding some asian ingredients that I want the food to taste the way I want it to be.
Basically I am the type that will not use measuring tools and guides in cooking. I mostly depend on my mood and most of my food preparation are classified as experimenting.
Luckily enough, I usually end up having a good output, and few of those become a favorite among my friends, family and relatives.
One of my favorite line from the movie, The Hundred-Foot Journey:
"Food is memories." - Hassan Kadam
This line inspires me to cook and experiment more in the kitchen. Preparing some local foods with my own twist... I am always dependent on what are only available on the kitchen, in this manner it will help me to keep on budget and being resourceful.
The kitchen is the art room for the inspiring chefs and to most mother as well specially those who loves cooking. The place is where they express their creativity in the way they prepare and present their masterpiece.
